I can't hex edit my saves...

    I've tried to follow this guide http://www.wireframeink.50megs.com/hex_edit_arcanum.htm , but it always says that there are no results in the hex editor when I try to find my char. I've tried it in a few hex editors, and even notepad after copying/pasting everything from the hex editor...


    I reaallly want to give myself a lot of character points, and I can't use the character editor as when I try to register the dlls it gives me an error.

    What OS do you have? If you have Vista you have to turn off UAC to stop the error message when registering the dll files.
