So... I got to Caladon and went from bow apprentice to bow master in one day (Teleportation is the coolest). I'm sitting there with my Elven bow with the 25 speed wanting to unleash 2x arrow destruction, but I can't figure out how to change it to 2 arrows at a time. Please help...
Yes, welcome to the T-A forums Fredekem and luchaire! :wavey: Glad you made it over from DoA Luchaire!
That's really a good thing to know!! I have not used the bows much because guns, swords, and spells were so much more effective. But if you are able to shoot 2 arrows at once, that makes bow-slinging all the more attractive. Then it's just a matter of......what kind of bow do I want to use? The magic bows? Elven Hunter's, Bow of Ecclesiastes? Or...some of the "Techie" types...the compounds, poisoned, etc. The possibilities are endless!..er, well, almost!! _
Try the Pyro Bow, if you're going tech... the Bow of Ecclesiastes is good for the magic bowman. I'm not sure what the best bow-user is. Probably a mage though. Hasten + 20 dexterity + those +5 speed boots + speed potion + 2x arrows per hit = Enemies dead with movement to spare. It also = LOTS of arrows spent.
mucho thank-o! I might try that this time around. It might be cool to be able to switch from bow to chakram. Any tips on how to do quick-switch during battle in real time? Say, for instance, from elephant gun to sword/shield combo, and back again...without having to open inventory???
You can do it one way by having the weapon to switch to in a quick-slot. As long as you've got inventory space left for the weapon you currently have equipped then all you have to do is click the quick-slot. However, if you want two-way switching then you have to have two of each weapon in the quick-slots and a lot on spare inventory space! Other than that, there is no way of doing it to my knowledge. However, you could always press 'o' (that's oh) to get to the options menu and go to turn-based. Change weapon. Then go back to real-time. You can still lose some of the battle though, but it's better than changing weapons totally in real-time.
Thanks for the info on that. I was wondering if I missed out on some quick change method. It seems that it's best to prepare for the up-and-coming battles with what you need in hand.
