how do i get to the other side of the mountains?

Well, you can walk all the way up north past the Vendigroth Wastes if you want a long trek. You can learn the location of a city or place that's on the other side of the mountains and use a teleport spell/scroll. Later on you can take a ship to Caladon I believe. There are passes through the mountains that can take you through but you have to walk. Hardin's Pass is near Stillwater at map coordinates West 1288 South 713, that will take you through the mountains to the Glimmering Forest.

 

Which other side is that?

 

Getting through the Mountains

I have the same problem. I get to Hardins pass and find monsters SW but what do I do to or where do I go to get thru the pass

 

Ah, I found it. Just keep heading left until you leave the mountains and snow and the globe goes blue again.

Yeah, there's a couple of ways to get to Caladon on foot. Just so you know :smile:.

 

Hardin's Pass is to get to the Glimmering Forest.

Gorgoth's Pass is to get to Caladon / altar.

 

What altar is in Gorgoth's Pass?

Also, don't forget the Lethe Wyvern place - river crossing and all, between Caladon and the Glimmering Forest.

 

Why walk when there are so many other ways...
for example trains or teleportation.

i walk only when i want to reveal some place.

 

Trains go to three places - Ashbury, Blackroot or Tarant. Not much choice is there?
