How do I become a god?

    Yes, I've checked the forums via the search function. This question has not been answered. Repeat, this question has not been answered.

    How do I become a god at endgame? Is completion of the pagan gods quest enough? I've played both good and evil, and have not been able to become a god. Both times, I have left Arronax alone and gone to battle Kergan by myself, and defeated him both times in combat. Use the Vendigroth device. Boom.

    Any answers?

    I'm pretty sure you've got to complete the Pagan Gods quests, sacrifice yourself to Velourian and then it's onto endgame.

    Nope, sacrificing yourself to him just gives you Ultimate Power. Lots of nice bonues, goes in your journal as a blessing, and then, you've got to get going to the Ring of Brodar.

    Someone says that he/she did all good quests and he/she turns out as the good god. There is a post here about that. I'm not sure if this is right because I haven't tried it myself.

    My PC had GE +100, did all good quests except pagan gods quest, all endings of the game were the most good, but nothing good was said about the pc. May smb say me what's the matter?

    Maybe you are doing something good as what you think when you are doing something good for an evil character. Read alignments.

    Actually you just have to sacrifice some shrubbery in vendigroth and then you'll be a god.

    I know how to get to the void etc. I conveniently skipped that bit. My poin was that I am pretty sure you must sacrifice yourself to Velourian to get the dialogue options to become a god when talking to Kerghan.

    To complete the gods quest, you must sacrifice yourself to Velorian. So we already covered that.

    Has anyone here actually become a god by game's end, or is this option some urban legend?

    So, to review: how does one become a god at the end of Arcanum?
