Well I was walking around Ashbury, doing some stuff, when I notcied a house with some unlocked windows. I suddenly had an urge to climb through, so I did, only to discover a Half-Elf woman who attacked me. I didn't want to load an old save (just did a quest), so I took care of her (and a familiar), and found that she was carrying a Scroll of Summon Ogre. I thought it would come in handy, but thought I should make sure that I wasn't gonna be hunted down by villagers, so left and looked around. Nothing happened, so I returned to find the body gone and a GUARD picking up the items, and fleeing through the window! I had to chase him down and pickpocket the scroll from him!!! I wouldn't call it strange, it's rather an example of how good is the NPCs-world interaction in Arcanum.
