Ok I finally managed to work out why I can't use the schematics i bought, you need to be trained in the two areas of the schematic. But... I have a schematic called "Schreck's Multi Barelled Pistol" which looks good except that i cant even learn it, as in right click the picture of it in my inventory and make it dissapear, why is that????
It's not a real schematic. It's a quest item for the Thieves Guild. I reckon they did that so you wouldn't learn it, destroy the schematic, and ruin the quest. It's not that great of a weapon anyway.
