I am making a technologist. Would it be a good idea to use gunsmithing and Mechanical? Or should i use throwing and mechanical? Or should i use smithy and mechanical or explosives
Well... If you want to make your own army of Automatons... Go for Smithy and Mechanical. Then you can (if you can afford the steam engines) pump out an army of Automatons once you get the schematics. Lots of fun! PLUS.. They don't complain about attcking good hearted souls.. That AND I like the whacking sound they make when they attack.
Or Gunsmithy and Electricity. Charged Rings (+2DX for tech dwarves from each ring), Flow Spectrometer (detect Traps so you don't have to put ANY points in SpotTrap), HealingJacket (very useful) and Tesla Rod which is needed for Tesla Gun.
