How do I get him to return to being King of the Wheel Clan? I tried all the chat dialogues (I think) And he just gives me the note and returns to exile =[ Help me please.
If I remember rightly, last time I played, my techie asked his son a bunch o' questions about the philosophical beliefs of the dwarves. Then when she found Loghaire an' he went into his hissy fit about all the terrible things he was responsible for, she said some stuff comparing his situation to the philosophy, and he decided that it was right and he was wrong, and went back. If I can repeat the feat in a later game, I'll try to give ya some more explicit information `bout the dialogue paths involved.
Welcome to the Forum, Paradigm! :wavey: To your question: talk to Randver Thunderstone, the king in waiting. You'll need some Persuasion Skill (go for Expert level, at least) and at least 10 Intelligence. At some point Randver will talk about the "stone and shape", which is Dwarven Philosophy. Learn all about it. Randver lets you visit Loghaire. Talk to Loghaire about the philosophy and convince him to return.
It doesn't even take Expert, really. My techie only ever put two CP's into it, `cause she preferred to spend her points on degrees, an' that was all it took.
