if you guys could indulge me with another response, what exactly is a good way to heal followers if I do not personally use magic? I have Virgil but all he does is heal me - is there any way to command him to heal, say, Magnus instead?
Sometimes they will automatically heal each other, but virgil's stingy with his healing, unless you or he is hurt. He'll drop a heal if the other person is like, 25% or less, but not before then. I find it's better to just keep a large supply of healing salve on hand.
The best way to keep your allies healed in the heat of battle is to give them all the healing potions/salves you can find. Keep them stocked up on healing items and they can take pretty good care of themselves. If you yourself run low, you could use a fate point or just make sure you've got your own private stash.
