Half-Orge Plate-Mail

Anyone know where some Half-Orge Plate Mail can be found/bought/traded/stolen/looted?

I dont believe there is such an armor or schematic to construct it. I've been through the game twice and never found a half-ogre plait mail. Sorry...

I don't know if its possible to purchase Half Ogre Plate in shops but there's at least one particular NPC who has bodyguards that wear it.

You can make Large Featherweight Chainmail and Elite Platemail, as well as Small sized, with Smithing. When making the Featherweight Chainmail you just have to start with the size of Leather armor you want the finished product to be. Note it has to be Leather and not Guard Leather.

 

Gnome Half-Orge Bodyguards?

I thought I saw on this post, or somewhere else, that some Gnome's Half-Ogre Bodyguards were wearing Ogre Plate Mail. Does that strike a cord with anyone?

I don't have the smithing skill to build the armor, and I have reached max level.

 

I found some Half-Ogre Plate

In the town of BlackRoot, at the Sour Barnacle Tavern, there is a Gambling Master that won Capt. Teach's boat away from him. That guy has two Half-Ogre's as bodyguards.

Since, I am no gambling master, and I cant dream to win against that guy, and the fact that there are other ways to get a Ship, I went ahead and slaughtered the guy and his two half Ogre Guards (they are level 40,45 and 45).

Took the armor. It's heavy shit, at 1200 Stones.

 

And if you could build the elite plate mail you can build the Mecanized plate mail. And that one is good, but quite heavy. But a lot of str and you vould not notice carrying it.

 

There's also a hack that fixes that strength-bonus the machined plate is supposed to give.
