grak does not attack cesare

I can't figure out what is wrong. I have gog.com game, uap, the latest patch, and the hi res patch. and the phrase LOOK OUT appears but no assasin appears.

i never changed any protos but I renamed the folder and it still won't work. grr.

is there some way to force this quest? I had found a note i heard was related to the quest.

 

What order did you install everything in?

 

ack. i do not remember.

i could reinstall the game in the order you suggest. do you know where the game keeps the saves so i can make sure i don't delete them with uninstall/reinstall?

Me and Cesare actually settled our differences a while back.

 

If you haven't redone your saves or anything yet, go outside. There's always a chance they're stuck outside the window?

 

deleted alll arcanum except my saves, intalled gog-arcanum, 1074 patch, uap, and hi res. IT worked!

it may also have been a small custom thief background i had created using custom background .mes shonsu made a faq about.
