    In case anyone was wondering, cuz I was and I didn't find any posts about it:

    Playing an evil guy, I helped expose Mr. Bates as a fraud. Then I wondered "how will I get to the Isle of Despair, or Ashbury for that matter? I can't talk to old Gil about it now".
    SPOILER FOR YOU EVIL TYPES BELOW:











    Well, if you talk to a ship captin in tarant about getting to the I. of D., he'll say no way, but you might find someone in ashbury crazy enough to take you, you can then ask him to mark it on your map. When you get there, Teach says he'll take you (at higher than average fare), then says something about finding the jerk who betrayed his friend Bates.

    I haven't had him take me yet, but I hope when he does he finds out that I am the one who betrayed his friend, and a bloody battle begins!

    Getting the 30K for the quest in Caladon was nice; but buying the Bates Mansion? If a *new* boat costs 50K, how much is the mansion? How many sets of lockpics will I go through now getting the necessary funds? j/k

    How can you buy the Gilbet Bates mansion? I find it very nice and stylish and I'm very intersted in. But I don't find any promotor in that game...
