Getting Magnus to learn found or bought schematics

I've found a few schematics in my travels. Is there a way to give it to Magnus to learn instead of myself? Also, is there a way to up my followers response to me? All of a sudden Magnus and Sogg are suspicious of me, but my alignment is still on the good side.

maybe the bug of killing the wrong baddies also worked it's way. killed any kites or undead recently?

 

Wasn't the patch supposed to fix the alignment bug? It's happening to me,too, even with the patch.

 

Only the PC can use learned schematics.
So if you don't have the skill it pretty much useless.
