Geodes??? What are they?

Someone help me!!!

What are Geodes used for..

They keep on counting down. I have 3 and want to get rid of them if they are useless.

They can be sacrificed in a sidequest need one or two.

Go to an inn, get a room, dump them in a drawer. They should stay and you can pick them up when needed. Hot tips: make a save named "cache" or something and only use it when you wisit this place.

There are more containers that makes good stash-points, just look around.

 

Uncertain: I think you can sell them.

 

Junk dealers will buy them -- for my current character (average beauty and charisma, no haggle) I get around 160 coin each from the junk dealer on the Tarant docks

 

JUnk Dealers are cheap. I compare prices and the general store give me more money than them.

 

As Aldarad suggested, I'd hang on to them in case you want to do the God's quest later, I'm not, I'm selling all my the jewels that Im finding, gonna mess the God's alters the next time I play through the game as a female mage!
