Gamespot UK has done a nice little preview of Arcanum, including posting a small batch of screenshots for those people, like me, who like pretty pictures. Here's a snippet:

Interestingly, fans of Fallout may be surprised to learn that Arcanum developer, Troika Games, was founded by Tim Cain, Leonard Boyarsky and Jason Anderson. The names may mean nothing to most, but hard-core RPG fanatics might recognise them as former members of the original Fallout development team at Interplay. Cain was the producer, lead programmer and designer of the series. Boyarsky was the lead artist, while Anderson was artist and joint creator (with Cain) of the Fallout isometric graphics engine. Little wonder then that Arcanum has a similar look and feel to the sci-fi title.

I spotted this over at Blues.
