http://www.terra-arcanum.com/phpBB/view ... p?p=173459 - Main mage - Virgil - Dante - Geoffrey - Perriman - Z'an - Raven All with Arcane sets, shitloads of spells and potions, and helmed to max magick.
Arcane Archers * Half-Elf main with lots of magic and a bow * Virgil and a bow * Perriman and a bow * Raven * Arronax (no bow, but I couldn't bring myself to leave him behind) Oh, the critical misses...
It was so worth it. (in case you hadn't guessed, I love the Arcane Archer prestige class from D&D. I can be friggin' evil with them)
Here's a few more combinations: 1) Beauty and the BEast: - Main Character female - Sogg/Chukka or Gar. 2)Charlie and his Angels - Main Character male - Virgil (as Bosley) - Raven - Priscilla - Jayna
I would had loved it, if it didn't suck in all of Bioware's games. By the time you get +5 enchantments on your arrows, you'll already have found better stuff. I wish they could show restraint and be a little more low magic.
Me and my wife completed the NWN+Expansions. It lacks the feature to form a really good party, unlike in Arcanum where you get to choose who you want to bring along and customize your party's equipment. And they have diverse personalities, too.
Shadows of Undrentide irritated me. The only good thing about that expansion can be summed up in one word: DEEKIN. The original had by far the best plot. Undrentide had Deekin. Hordes had the best characters but the stupidest final chapter. And the Arcane Archer can get to +10 arrows if you stick with it.
Robin Hood and his merry men: Robin Hood-Human male archer-no metal armor Little John-Sogg with only staff-leather armor only Friar Tuck-Virgil(of course)-robes only, no combat
Deekin was so fucking awesome. When I Spoiler ran into him in Neverwinter Nights 2 I was so happy. Sadly, you can't get him as a follower in that game :-(
NWN2 sucked more than a black hole. I mean, shit dude. The plot was nonsensical half the time and most of the NPCs made me irritable to say the least. Having said which, Sand was just awesome, Neeshka and Kelghar were funny, and the Warlock class is just plain cool.
My all time favorite was 4 Dwarves. Never got to finish it though because I got a new hard drive and forgot to transfer over my save games.
