Follower Question, plus others

    Hi I just bought the game yesterday, and I am hooked.

    One thing I would like to know, is if there is any way to force my followers to use one type of weapon or other equipment over others, without them choosing. Also, how do I stop my followers from picking up junk they find on the floor?

    Also, could someone tell me what mnurva coins do, and how to use tech manuals? Thank you so much.

    I'm not sure about the other questions, but tech manuals simply add to your expertise for each technological skill. So if you purchase an explosives manual, for example, check your tech. skill level before and after and you'll see that it goes up by about 15 points (I think). It's useful in building schematics that include items from tech. trees that you don't have any skill in.

    Since you have access to the "paper doll" for your followers, you can take any weapons or armor they have equipped away and they will usually equip whatever they have left. Make sure they have the min str for it tho...
