Not a bad result for the USA. It gives them a fair chance of going through to the next round. All they probably need to do is hold Poland to a draw.

I guess that's why a lot of FOREIGNERS don't like to wath the football being played in the USA. And you're kinda right about soccer. But that's why I only watch the world cup en european cup. There's a really good vibe there. _

 

Yeah I'll admit to watching the world cup. So ABC televised the Eng-Arg game days after it was played but hell I still enjoyed the match. It was about time you English got revenge for "The hand of God." Although I think Beckam has been spending too much time with his spice chick. His hair...the humanity...oh the humanity.

 

Clothos I, too, find most football boring to watch. In fact, I think a lot of sport is boring unless you strongly support one side or another. American football just looks like long periods of substitution/formation shuffling interspersed by occasional throw or kick.

 

You just don't get it S_F its the thinking mans sport.

BTW, Portugal 4 - Poland 0

Means that the USA will go through if they can hold Poland to a draw on Friday

 

The US can still go through if they loose to Poland. The omly way they don't is if Portugal beats S. Korea (likely) by the number of goals the US looses by +2
