These past days I've been scavenging the internets (basically TA and RPGCodex) for patches/mods/etc. And at least these ones are not working: http://www.terra-arcanum.com/downloads/ ... 100306.exe http://www.terra-arcanum.com/downloads/ ... Cheats.zip http://www.terra-arcanum.com/downloads/ ... eSetup.zip For MRP there's a megaupload link here: http://terra-arcanum.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?p=192362
first post aside, this site hosts files that are getting kinda hard to find with you letting the links die, setting up some mirrors like megaupload would at least be a start. rroyos_schematic_art.rar is down LostDungeonofSouls.exe seems down. Come on guys little work the community could do stuff again...
The resident programming slave is being routinely whipped towards remedying this (he's been working on a new and/or improved verseion for awhile now).
Calling him a slave denigrates what it is to be a programmer. That new version work should be in the news section, as in "Guess what's being done behind closed doors!"
It doesn't have to be a fancy application like we used to have.....could just be a big ol' page of text and links and it would serve it's purpose.
Some time ago, I made a offline (DVD) version of TA's download section, if anybody is interested in that, I could upload it.
Somebody upgraded PHP without telling anyone. The function I used for checking file types disappeared overnight and stuff got broken. So I stopped checking, I'll let the users figure out what it is they're downloading. Downloads should work fine now. I am. Although I can't promise I'll actually download it and use it to restore all of our missing files. Still, having all the stuff back in one place would get me closer to getting the job done, which would mean I'm making progress without actually doing anything.
Microsoft is a bad example of anything. Plus, it took you three days to respond to my comment, so I'm hesitant to even take it seriously.
