I 've found the unfortunate remains of a deceased "human noble" just outside of the Gorgoth Pass... I've tried summoning his spirit (via Conjure Spirit) and bringing hm back altogether (i.e. resurrection). Although both spells worked without fail, I didn't get much of a response from the guy. I figured it better to simply reload, take his gear, and leave the remains for hungry woodland creatures... But before I do, I thought it might be wise to ask some of you more experienced adventurers whether I'll be missing out on anything if I do this. Was hoping he'd make a mysterious new addition to my party (or at least fulfill some random quest), but I guess not. Thanx for your input on this... One more thing... the only other point of interest I found in the Pass was Kai'tan's altar. If I missed anything significant that you know of, please let me know so I can go back and check it out... Thx again.
Perhaps it was an oversight by Troika to permit this NPC to be resurrected, much like the dead dwarves in the Void, the skeleton at the barracks of Ashbury castle/mansion, the Gnome wizard at the BMC mines, and a few others. I have not noticed any alignment benefit to bringing these back either.
You won't miss out on anything. I just stay away from him. Save before you use his equipment. Welcome to the forum.
