    Just out of curiousity (cos i'm bored) anyone here knows or plays Counter-strike. Y'know, the famous half-life mod that everyone has been talking about. Loved that game (or mod). Never thought I would be pulled back into the rpg world again, but Arcanum only makes it easy for me to forget Counter-strike. For those of you that don't know, Counter-Strike is a counter-terrorism mod for the action game half-life. Its online popularity exceeds Unreal Tournament and Quake3 together and is now king of multiplayer action. I used to map with the Worldcraft 3.3 tools but I only shared them with my friends. Ofcourse, this has nothing to do with Arcanum, so I won't be surprised to see no replies. Just typing cause I'm bored. :p

    That game was awsome until it turned into Hacker-strike.. so many good games turned into crap :sad:

    I played CS just once, quite a lot of fun. The only bad thing was that two of the players new most maps by heart. What's the sense in learning to play a game like you'd be paid for it? It was real fun only when we played on a map that nobody new.

    Anyway I couldn't spend as much time enjoying CS as I do playing a good RPG like Arcanum.

    BTW what do you mean by hacker-strike?

    Counter-Strike is the best shoot-em-up game ever.
    I don't like games like Quake and Duke Nukem, but Counter-Strike is awesome.

    Find the right server and you won't have to worry about cheaters...

    Called hackerstrike because so manu damn cheats for that bullshit with changing certain files i.e. .dll's for always headshoys.. never reloasd and such. it WAS a good game.. but i was tireed of that Bs so i went back to the classic. TFC...great game....

    A lot of my classmates are playing this game. I think they are addicted. Every after school, they went to the nearest computer rental to play it. Sometimes they'd even cut-classes just to play the game.

    Yeah almost everybody in my computer class last year played it. Me and my buds stuck to good ole TFC.

    TFC for quake? That thing rocks... and half life TFC sucks tho all my friends are addicted to it.. I also useda play HL DM, and got pretty good at it while I was at it :smile:

    I used to play TF for QuakeWorld. Those were the days. TFC is just plain crap compared to TF for QuakeWorld. The balance of TFC is so damned off, it's sickenning.

    Oh, and I never liked Counter-Strike. After playing Delta Force, Counter-Strike just seemed goofy.

    Yes, in Bangkok people who doesn't play Counter-strike is either a girl or a gay. It's that popular here. I'm sure where Al live is similar. I'm bored with it now though. There's still Counter-Strike:ConditionZero coming soon. :smile:
