I had a very bizarre and fitting incident last night.. my dwarvern technologist, resplendent with his long flowing beard, had just emptied out the black mountain mines. Not fancying the long trudge back to the surface I decided to use a scroll of exiting that I'd looted off some reprobate or other who'd stood in my way. Turned out the computer took the tech/magic conflict way too literally and crashed me to desktop - that wasn't the kind of exit I wanted!
Aw man, that happend to me last month. Good thing I magically uncorrupted them. What a bloody pain! Is anyone "feelin'" me on this one?
Aye, I feel with you alright, save the fact that I don't have enough of computer know-how (ie enough of a geek) to dispel the evil enchantments. Lost an entire character through corrupted saves once, not fun.
I'ven't had that problem... how do you corrupt saves? and, equally useful, how do you uncorrupt them? Use some piece of technology to off-set the spell?
