Can Scars be Healed?

I foolishly scarred myself in combat, which lowers my Beauty. However, on the character sheet the new Beauty score is in Red, indicating it's a temporary condiiton. Is there a way to fix it, or no?

 

The greater healing spell (or is it major... well you know the one) or a critical success with bandages will clear it up.

 

Major healing.

And you don't exactly let yourself get scarred, it kind of just happens.

 

Once you become proficiant with you weapon(s) of choice, it won't be a problem. Meanwhile, get healing-Doc Roberts can fix scars in a few tries.

OMG. With suffiecient medical skill you could salvage body parts from corpses (how they become corpses isn't your concern) and graft them onto yourself or your followers.

Well considering that the technology of Arcanum is more advanced than the medieval time period, they should very well have advanced prosthetics. During those time periods there are noted cases of blacksmiths creating highly detailed mechanical limbs, granted they could close or open fingers around a shield handle in the most advanced case .... still that was before the steam engine period so Arcanum should definately have advanced prosthetics.

I mean they already have advanced dentistry, look at Worthless Mutt. The dog reminds me of trapjaw from the old he-man cartoon.

I also find it annoying that you cannot create arachnids with guns attached to them. On the magic side why can you not master summoning a rabbit from a hat that morphs into a demon in order to kill your enemy.

Of course you'd have to wear a chapeau and Shadowing Robe in order to complete your transformation from a mage to magician.

 

I got many cripples, left leg and right arm. My dexterity is down to 1, I'm really the slowest and my beauty is a red 6 (with fancy dress on, it's 9).
A sissy elf is no match for a wolf. Luckily I can summon Hellgate, teehee.

Gotta get me a healer, but first I'm gonna get my familiar... Then I'll spend points in healing.
