    Hello Ng,

i got a problem, i collected the box with gold for King Praetor of Dernholm by getting the ceremonial Dagger of the major. I did some other Quests and now returned to Dernholm to deliver the Taxes. BUT the box dissaperead from my inventory. I've checked all my followers, nothing there. I'm sure I haven't sold it by accidant ... Is there a way to cheat the item back?

Second question. I've found the Son of Camerion, Liam, I tried to close the portals with the macigal traps as descriped in his book. But the lvl 20 to 25 Lizards and whatever monsters there tear me and my group apart ... Is this supposed to be done with a higher level? Or is there a trick?

    Thanks for your help

You can close the portal from quite a distance (just as you can put dynamite on something or someone from a distance). You don't need to stand next to it: as soon as you can see it on your computerscreen, you can use the magical trap on it and once it's closed all the monsters that leapt though the portal will dissolve. Hope that helps a little.

Don't know about your first question, though. Never happened to me. You didn't put it in a container somewhere (an Inn or the warehouse in Tarant) and forgot you did?

Also, just to be sure, you can check the inventory of the shopkeepers you could visit after getting the taxes. In one of my games I didn't want to give it back to the King so I sold it near the beggining of the game to one shopkeeper and when I cheked his inventory near the end the still had it. It seems that if you sold it, the shopkeeper will still have it. Would cost a fortune to buy it back though.

    SPOILER

Thieves' Camp in the West of the townsmap. Just cross the railway and a bit of water (if I remember correctly) and you should find them.
