Black root? I have talk to the halfling on the beach and he tells me to go west. Is this west on the town map or the world map? I have tried both but can’t find anything. Also the mayor wants me to find something that bandits stole were are the bandits and who tells you how to find them Lastly how can you teach your NPC apprentice, expert or master ranks?
Well, to the second question, near the railroad is an area of shallow water, follow it and you will find the bandit's hideout. I dont know about the first question, I guess just look around. Oh, ya, I realized I probably can answer the last question: you simply search around and talk to the people that allow you to ask for apprentice training. You can tell what training they will probably have depending on what they are and do. To find the experts, talk to someone who can offer training as an apprentice, to find the masters, talk to someone who offers training as an expert. Simple, right? You may also hear rumors about the Masters that will help you find them.
To teach your followers, you have to have the 'Educator' background (but you get one less follower that way). Some Followers automatically get trained. (ie. dog, Raven).
Those halflings are on the town map. They're just to the west of the Bandit Camp. Just north of the railroad tracks
