Binkw32.dll and MSS32.dll. Problem.

I did a search, and fonud out about those two files and dll.com or whatever it is, and downloaded those, then got the other error for the mss32 thing. However, when I try to do the run command it says registering fails. Anyone able to tel lm what I'm doing wrong?

Anyway. I downloaded then both nd put em in the Arcanum folder but i'm still getting the _AIL_set_stream_volume@8 error. for the mss32.dll file. Anyway to fix this?

 

Reinstall arcanum. Then tell us your problem.

oookkkaaay befor anyone bashes me for digging up 6 month old posts. i just wanted to say this is just the problem i'v been haveing, and i did search, i reinstalled and still nothing. please help..



By the way i think the search thing is broken all i can up with was the same thing over and over no matter what i searched for.

thnx for the help but i get a bink error message and a regsvr32 message
when i type in that command(in cmd thing).

the bink error message go's like this: The BinkW32.dll file is incorrectly installed in the windows or windows system directory.(yes i the 2 dll files in system32 file)

and the regsvr 32 message go's like this: Loadlibrary("binkw32.dll") faild-A dynamic link library (DLL) initialzation routine faild.

now i have next to no skill on the computer my brother usally gets this jargin but he is away for a weak and im just lost...

 

Oh, the dreaded binkw32 problem. Some fixes work, some dont.
