    Good God, please include SPECIAL and turn based combat to this so we can play Fallout 3 the way it was meant to be played, and protect us from heathenous ideas of Morrowind in a Fallout setting, amen.

    NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! The one company I didn't want near Fallout is going to produce the sequel. I absolutely hated every second of Morrowind. The shitty graphics, the cumbersome movement, the uninspiring music, the boring plot, the retarded dialog. If I could cry blood, I would do that right now. God?! I am pulling a Lacan right now BITCH!!

    I fucking hate Bethesda Softworks. Morrowind didn't only have the worst NPCs in an RPG but also near-awful animation, a five-word story, and limitless "Fed Ex" quests.
    I think Silver Style would've been more suited for Fallout 3. I am not even talking about Troika: the original team behind Fallout. I think fans will strangle interplay.

    I think Herve is doing this as a fuck you to Tim Cain for leaving him before he took over :). That said, I have mixed feelings - my first reaction was "Fuck, please say it isn't so!"

    But Morrowind, for all it's faults, still had some good points. The graphics were pretty funky, the music was pretty good, and really, with some effort and a completely different engine, they can hopefully make a far better game this time around. Most of the faults of Morrowind were to do with the engine they picked, although the storyline and quest system was all their fuck ups...which really doesn't bode well for Fallout 3 now does it?

    Still, I can't wait to see how they handle all the hardcore fans ripping into them at their forums.

    Don't be a bunch of morons.
    Just because Morrowind was one way doesn't mean that they will make Fallout 3 the exact same way.
    VTM:B is going to be vastly different from Arcanum. Completely different.
    Bethesda is going to make Fallout 3 completely differently from Morrowind.
    That being said, I am probably going to pledge jihad upon Bethesda when the fuck it up royally.
    However, the complaints about FO3 are going to be highly different from the complaints about Morrowind.

    I also heard there was gonna be a MMORPG of Fallout or something...forgot where I heard it...and not sure if any of you have mentioned it...

    i was highly addicted to morrowind... but then again, my favorite part was collecting herbs and making them into potions. i ignored the quests, storyline, and everything else... i mainly used it for relaxation purposes.

    Just as long as Bethesda actually make the game in the spirit of Fallout, so to speak, and not do their own "interpretation" (read: fuck up) of it, I guess I can live with it.

    Troika can't make Fallout 3. They made a bid for the license but Bethesda simply outgunned them.

    As the resident angry Fallout fan, I have to say the news isn't good. Heh. Nice to read it over here though, after reading it at every other forum I frequent. :)

    I'm still glad someone will make Fallout 3 after all. Pity it isn't Troika. As to whether Bethesda is a good choice or not, time will tell. I just hope it'll be turnbased. And I want Special system. And isometric view. Oh yeah, and gore and all the aimed shots and adult content. I just want another great Fallout game it seems.

    This sucks...

    Does that mean the view will be in somewhat like a Morrowind view. I hope not, I like the Fallout view and stuff...you can see more of what's happening... =/
