How can you kill the cursed Paladin without killing the Paladin Slaves. It kills my allignment when they get killed but my guys automatically attack them. Anyone been able to save them?

Command your followers to don't attack. (Hit F5 key - all back off) And then you fight alone....

Unless you dominate will them, I'm guessing that you'll have to kill them - and take the alignment hit while you're at it. You're followers won't leave you, but yeah, leave them behind if it worries you that much. Better yet, let them attack you for a bit before responding...that might help you.

I killed the Paladin then "spoke" to each of the Paladin Slaves before retrieving the blade from the chest. The Paladin Slaves reacted like ordinary town NPC's then; but another time I retrieved the blade and did not attempt to speak with the slaves first. The Paladin Slaves then attacked me.

Aligning as a good character, Magnus, Raven, etc., are good flowmeters. Soon as they gripe about my attacking "good people" I would reload a previous save and try again. If I waited for the NPC to attack me first I don't think it affected my alignment. As per the Paladin Slaves on attack, I made certain to only defend against the one attacking me.

This alignment thing seems a bit screwy. I prefer to use ranged attacks. Killing a couple of automatons before they can land a hit is easy when using a decent bow or the elephant gun (I always master the weap though); however, even when an NPC is on the attack, Raven (Lonhaire, Magnus, etc.; but Raven looks better in Dread Armor;p) will gripe when I open fire unless I let the antagonist hit me first.
