1. Does Automatons heal themself or do u have to repair them? 2. Is it worth mastering repair if u have automatons?
As automotons are mechanical creations, I think you may only repair them. I usually master repair; however expert repair is probably good enough if skill points get too tight. I have also temporarily boosted inteligence just to get repair mastery (and save a few skill points). After the potion wears off it appears you lose a couple repair points; but remain as "master" so subsequent repairs are still 100%.
Welcome to the forum Woundead! you can also repair them as you would have a sword, at the smithy shops
1% Isn't too bad; but again, I usually master repair. Having items fixed at a smithy is a roll of the dice. They often fail in bringing the item up to that 1% which can seriously compromise it. On the subject of Automotons, I noticed one of mine had leveled up; but as soon as it was picked up for repairs it reverted back to level 30. hp? I forgets. My gripe with 'em is they are one more thing to get in the way and using the "walk" command can be a hassle.
OOHHH! a thra on automatons. WEll..heres your answer buddy! Yes you repair them..but they DO NOT lower their max hit points? how you ask??? well.. put them in your inventory..repair..their hti ts lower..rethrow them..theyre back to level 30 with max hitpoints..and full life. Sleeping heals them as well. I have 2 ranks in repair also (a worthless skill IMHO)... Rethrowing them and resetting the level is not a bad hting..as they do not redistribute their char points anyway. Atutomatons rock. ..........BUild an army of em!!!
Thanks for answers. 1. So you mean you will only need like 1 point in repair? 2. If you pick them up(without repairing), and throw them, will they get max hp then?
i still playing 1.0.7.0, and when i rest the automatons auto heals, is this kinda different to the newer patch?
