Are there any nice guns to steal?

Does anybody know some nice guns I can pickpocket? I know some NPC such as Sammy White and the gunsmith in Tarant have some good guns (in his personal inventory, not in his shop) but I'm always looking for a bigger gun. Thanks!

 

Those two & the Looking Glass Rifle, on the hermit in Ashbury are about it. Don't kill him, he is the firearms master. The Ashbury gunsmith has an interesting looking rifle on him, but the LGR is much better.

 

if you don't have the patch the lgr is sooooooo good.You can get the elephant rifle from Franklin Payne of the chief poacher aswell.

 

I've got the patch installed so the lgr is now much weaker, and the elephant gun is sure great but it is 2-handed, I have decided to stick with one-handers so i can wear a shield. Always played the game with the patch installed but someday I will play a "patch-less" game a see the real strenght of the lgr, thanks.

 

Just don't ask Magnus to wait in the unpatched game.

You can uninstall leaving the save files behind. When you reinstall, the patch will be gone.
