    Hi everyone,
    I'm having trouble trying to install Arcanum. The arcanum3.dat file appears to be corrupt on disk2 for some reason. I think I've managed to copy all of the other files before the installation program auto deleted them when it cancels itself. Is there anyway I could get a copy of this file?

    Try copying the arcanum3.dat of the second cd to your hard drive, see how that goes. I mean, manually, going there through the 'my computer' icon.

    If this fails then you're in trouble. Try cleaning the cd or using a different cd drive... a dvd recorder in a new pc is likely to do better then a combo drive in an old laptop.

    Yeah i've tried all of those ideas. I think my CD may be too damaged. It is quite old. It gets halfway through downloading the file and then the CD goes crazy and cancels the download. Would it possible if someone could send me this file? I think it is only about 9.3mb, so hopefully it wouldn't be too much of a hassle? It would be much appreciated!
