In the terra arcanum site I read that after you come back from half ogre island the quest is pretty much over. Ive searched in the game for anything that might help. Before I read on the website about the newspaper i tried it, to no avail i might add, and I was wondering if anyone has figured anything out after that. Also I was wondering if there is any way to get to the isle "Catton(sp?)" because there is the only place i can imaging the real half ogre lab could be. Also, is Mr willoughby Mr X? If you know and is there any way to finish the problem. any help would be appreciated. demerdin
It's true, chrisbeddoes's mod gives this quest more of a feeling of closure. Still, I liked this quest the way it was originally made; not many game designers have the intestinal fortitude to leave a quest this open-ended in the final production. Oh, in case Canis is reading, USE THE SEARCH FUNCTION YOU HALF-WIT!!! WHAT WERE YOU THINKING ADDING ANOTHER POST ON TOP OF THE HALF DOZEN OTHERS THAT CONCERN THIS SAME TOPIC!!! DOLT!!!
Just so you know, Cattan is supposed to be a holiday destination. It's actually a tourist trap, so no laboratory.
Chalupa i think this is his first time so no need to insult him. I think the real laboratory is on the Isle of Despair. Isolated, no one wants to get there and if they find out they can't leave. Perfect spot ain't it.
How completely disconerting... Thank you and I will download that mod. Also, is the only way to get to the Isle of Dispair through teach that one time? demerdin
What happens if you kill Thorvald without speaking to him?? Is the main plot then blocked without Conjure Spirit??
It is strange that Thorvald draw a map in his journal to show the location of the Wheel clan. I think a dwarf will never forget the location of his own clan, except clanless dwarf and city dwarf. And as they always wish to keep the location sercet, I think it is not possible for his to draw the location on any book or paper! And I think his journal looks like a guild book more than a journal.
All I know is that if I were Thorvald Two Stones I would keep a journal and draw a map in it showing my clan.
Chalupa's right. Think about it. If you're forced to leave the country for 100 years, you're going to want at least a rough street map so you can navigate back to home territory. Sure, you're going to know the area around your home pretty well, but you're going to need to know how to get there. Might as well write it down when it's fresh in your memory...
