That the advertisements are targeted towards you? I was looking at BMW's online earlier today, and now almost everywhere I go, I'm seeing BMW ads.

The huge "let's hope this keeps the site going" banner across the top (which you should sporadically click, btw) made me realize this.

Haven't seen an online ad in a long time. Does it mean I reached full nirvana?

For me, the banner is a Verizon advertisement. I've been looking upgrading my mobile phone a great deal lately.

Ads these days use tracking cookies to look at what sites you've visited, or atleast what sites you've visted that give you cookies. Google lets you opt out however: http://www.google.com/privacy/ads/ (which just creates another cookie I believe).

It's been around for years, try to keep up with the times.

Still with the BMW ads today. Maybe I'll wipe my cookies out tomorrow, and then visit an audi site.

Firefox+AdBlock Plus, haven't seen an ad in years :(

It actually stops the banner you guys are talking about from even loading.

But if you don't click on the ads, how will you help support this place?!

Why... with my quick wit, cheerful demeanor, and kind, understanding nature, always giving words of caring to those in need!

Otherwise, I could just disable ad blocker for this particular website... or simply continue not to give a fuck :S

If my .007 cents per click are whats keeping this site running, we have serious issues

Actually, I don't know what the daily visits & such are, but it's probably closer to $1-2 per click.
