Another Isle of Despair question

The sorcerous beast on the Isle of Despair: where the [expletive deleted] is it?! Other posts on this board say to follow "tracks" on the east side of the beach. Indeed there are brown circles there about two feet wide and ten to thirty feet apart, which may be tracks, but lead nowhere. Does this beast have a den? If so, could someone please give me some directions or map coordinates? I have been searching the map for half an hour now, and am getting pretty pissed at this [expletive deleted] creature.

The tracks actually look like footprints. Circle around the left side of the prison, staying close to the shore. Eventually you'll find the footprints leading out of the water. Follow the prints (away from the water) to the creature's lair.
