Age of Decadence has been released!

Somebody buy it and tell me if it's worth it.

If it's not another goddamn party-based game I might give it a shot. I need something to do until Fallout 4 inevitably disappoints me.

 

Sounds really great.
If only I had the time to play it.

 

I'd also like to hear a review if anyone's got it. It's pretty expensive and may take some work to getting in functioning on a mac, so a decent review would be nice before I commit.

I finally beat Fallout: New Vegas last weekend so after this busy work week + weekend is over for me I might have time to play something until November hits. If nobody has taken the plunge by then I'll see about giving it a whirl. I promise nothing though!

 

Tried the demo some time ago, but the full game is too costly for me too. First impressions of an RPS writer can be found here. There will be a review in a few days as well.

 

I played it through and got 4 of the endings. Not sure how many there are all in all. But I had great fun with it and never even found sky metal.

 

Probably wasn't in the pirated version.

 

Hrm, an albeit-pirated endorsement from Yuki....I'm leaning towards picking it up then.

Yuki, how long was a single playthrough? Or did it vary heavily?

 

My gaming budget is currently on hold pending the release of Fallout 4, Battlefront, and possibly No Man's Sky in the near future. So I'll have to wait a bit on this one, but I'm sure I'll play it eventually. Sounds pretty legit.

 

I have my doubts that No Man's Sky will be ready in the near future. I am thinking of waiting for the complete/goty version of Fallout 4 as I am sick of paying through the roof for a game and then seeing it for a quarter of the price of the original game with all the DLC included.

 

Tried the demo tonight, it seemed really interesting, but in the 2 hours I was messing around with it the game randomly crashed 4-5 times. All while doing different things. Hell, it even crashed once when I clicked to save.

Seems interesting enough to continue trying later next week, but if this pattern keeps up when I get to wherever the end of the demo is I'm not sure if I'll want to continue.

 

It's currently on sale on steam for $25.49 USD of anyone is still looking to pick this up to give it a go. I might grab it now while its on sale until a spot in my lineup opens up.
