A funny thing happened on the way to Tarant

I had Tarant as a waypoint on my way to Ashbury from Shrouded Hills. I suddenly (as the dot went over Tarant) decided to stop in Tarant after all.

So I press the big button on the map screen to stop as my marker goes over tarant.... and the screen goes black.....


... and all of a sudden myself, Magnus, Waromon, Gar, Loghare, that whiny little elf who wants to go to Tarant and The Dog are suddenly inside Madam Lil's in the sheep pen.

I can imagine the look on the faces of Madam and her girls as all of us suddenly trooped out of the establishmet... except Bunny maybe, who would find it business-as-usual.

Wierd thing #2... I normally go looking for trouble in the docks of Tarant late at night. Beating up Orcs should be an olympic sport... anyway.. for the first time ever, as I rolled up, combat music starts, and as I get to the lamppost where they normally hang out, they have just killed a Tarant civilian. I've just never seen that before, but it was (un)pleasantly realistic. They even kicked the poor bugger once he went down (low fatigue, I guess).

 

It only proves that you all are one big bunch of perverts
Never happened to me - but that's probably because I don't like sheep.

Yep, I've seen it happening once or twice, and wondered if it was intended to happen for more realism or if it was some kind of bug like that crazy halfling in Ashbury who forced me to kill a couple of guards yesterday as he attacked me.

 

It happens with great regularity. The really wierd thing. I rescued one of those civilians by clicking the combat button & wailing on the Orc, & MAGNUS OBJECTED! And the citizen didn't even say thanks. Now I wait for the citizen to get killed & for the bandits to notice me. Then I get to loot all the bodies.
