3 New Backgrounds

Hey guys, I've been a little busy. I made some new backgrounds for everyone, i.e. all of you and every race. I'm currently playtesting the first, and things are pretty good in the game. A bit challenging (for me), but that's ok. Here they are;

{Tech Asperger's Syndrome

You were born with a neurological disorder that hinders your ability to relate with others on a social and emotional level (ch -2, reaction -35, bad reactions *2), and it also detracts from your overall dexterity (dx -2). You're stubborn (wp +1), and you have total disregard for a person's station, having no tolerance for authority. You're always assembling/disassembling things, and you're very in tune with the nature of technology(repair +6, tech +3) . While people readily accept your mind's capacity to learn (in +2, exp +10%), it's still very hard to make them understand just exactly how your mind works (followers -1). Due to your tinkering with all things technological, you've made a comfortable living (800 gold, start with balanced sword). You've boarded the Zephyr out of fascination for it's ability to fly, and are the first to notice the flying machines attacking the ship...(pe +1)}

{Magick Asperger's Syndrome

You were born with a neurological disorder that hinders your ability to relate with others on a social and emotional level (ch -2, reaction -35, bad reactions *2), and it also detracts from your overall dexterity (dx -2). You're stubborn (wp +1), and you don't appreciate those who take advantage of others. Your mind is naturally focused, and magick's potency is increased in your hands (fatigue +15%, magic +3). While people readily accept your mind's capacity to learn (in +2, exp +10%), it's still very hard to make them understand just exactly how your mind works (followers -1). Due to your reclusive magickal studies, you've been able to develop and sell several works of magickal equipment (800 gold, start with enchanted sword). You've boarded the Zephyr out of fascination for it's ability to fly without magick, and are the first to notice the flying machines attacking the ship...(pe +1)}

You're stubborn (wp +1), and you tend to blurt out personal information. Years of practise in speaking to others has made you persuasive (persuasion +6). While people readily accept your mind's capacity to learn (in +2, exp +10%), it's still very hard to make them understand just exactly how your mind works (followers -1). When you started working as a lawyer, your bowyer father gave you something hand-made to watch your back (800 gold, start with a long bow and arrows, bows +6). You lost a case and figured you'd go on a short holiday, and are the first to notice the flying machines attacking the ship...(pe +1)}

There were originally only the first two backgrounds, but then I wondered what would happen if you just wanted to start the game in the middle? It's pretty fun having everyone absolutely hate you if you insult them on the first meeting. Most people start at a reaction of 8-12, and it takes some ass kissing to raise it. However, if you're like me, you quickly grow tired of puckering. Enjoy!
