What is with Sammy White?

There is a halfling in Tarant who is absolutly annoying! Whenever I try to talk to him, he just shouts out racial slurs at me. And I can never get him to be civil! What is with this character? Is he important?

 

Just keep insulting him back until he gets to reaction 60 , or so. He's the pickpocket master, so I guess he's important to a thief character.

He is a Pick Pocket Master. Not really all that useful, if you ask me. Pick Pocket Master bonus isn't really that great, you can steal anything you want without it. BUT, if you're a gunslinger and your game is patched, you might want to steal Sammy's Hand Cannon. A pretty decent weapon.

 

As the other say: he's the sort of backstreet, urban waif type who loves trading insults as a means to establish whether a person has brains and spunk.

 

If you like it, he also has a nice Mechanical Dagger. And a high PE.

 

Sammy's intended to be a fun element in the game, guys. Don't take the game, or yourselves, too seriously. That's what Sammy's purpose in life is - to remind us of that. :razz:
