Welcome to the forums. According to underground dark elven and orcish customs, it is your duty to become the gimp as a gesture of humility. And beware...them gnomes are watching...with heavy lidded eyes and curly hair.

Hey Dark Elf, shouldn't your location be "The Collective Farm of Sweden," or maybe "The Swedish Free Worker's Republic?"

    Nay, we're not a republic, we're a monarchy. Hence, it's Kingdom.

Collective farm... was that meant as an insult?

Unlike most Americans, I actually know things about other countries. So I know that Sweden is a monarchy. But the Royal Head of State doesn't have any actual political power, and the country is run by the elected Riksdag, which would make it a republic for all intents and purposes. My comments were only half intended to be insulting. Since your ocountry has such extensive social programs, I like to say it's "communist." I know, Sweden isn't run by a totalitarian regime, but it's definitly socialist. Thus, "Free Worker's Republic," which is just a very communist-sounding name. Collective Farm is the same type of joke. Soviet Russia's agricultural system was based on the Collective Farm.

Sorry about the triple post. My browser screwed up when I tried to send that. For some reason I can't delete the extras, though.

Unlike most Americans I know a thing or two about my own country, its history & its constitution.

We are not supposed to be a democarcy. We are suposed to be a Republic. A democratic Republic.

I am afariad we have slipped into an Oligarcharic Empire.

Hmpf! Calling us Communists... what a prepostreous insult on our fair kingdom! Thou shalt be smited by my righteous might!

Socialism and Communism ain't really the same thing you know.

And right as Shadygrove said, I believe our nation is more democratic than yours. At least our Riksdag is represented by 7 parties, not merely 2.

Oh, and xzbyte, you missed my age with 5 years. I'm actually 18. Do I really look that old? Geez, I will look older than Shady when I hit 25...

Sorry for bugging you for the spelling though. It was meant as a joke, but I guess I went too far. Besides, I'm not really a star at writing English myself, which really removes my right to complain. Please accept my apologies. :)
