Raven Question

Simple enough question: Are there any exact prerequisites for the whole Raven thing to happen. And exactly when does the ring of brodgar thing happen during this. Also, I have been trying to increase her reaction but it wont increase further than 77. I have been trying to use a scroll of resurrection but the enemies never attack her they only attack me. This question has probably been answered before but I just cant get a clear answer. Everyone says something different. If you dont know the true answer then dont reply to this.

 

There really is no TRUE answer because I don't know what the fuck you did. What's your BE? Did you kill Min Gorad? Did Raven heal you after you got back from the T'seng Ang? This isn't Super Mario RPG where all you have to do to get the best stuff is jump in the right place, there are alot of factors that go into Raven wanting to ride you like a cowboy. Give me some specifics and maybe I can help you. Oh, and I did just notice this. Go to Caladon and ask Raven what she knows about the city, she might say something that gives you an opprotunity to hit on her. Hit on her and her reaction goes up by 10. Of course if she doesn't like you then maybe she won't like you hitting on her :/ . I don't know if it happens in any other cities, but it's worth a shot.

 

I don't really remember why that would happen. I've only had it happen once, and she continually commented on how bright/intelligent Captain Elektrik was. I assumed that beauty and charisma were switched with her.

Of course, I've not really had the opportunity to duplicate this since.

 

I didnt think that there was one way. I just wondered if anyone knew wether you need certain Charisma or Beauty etc. And im not looking for cowboy action; i only want her to like my char more.

 

May I suggest being a gnome? When your a Gnome you can use the spell Charm , use Charm , then cancel it. It leaves +10 reaction to whoever your using it on. Or if you have 20 charisma it will leave +30 or 40 reaction. I've had my followers reaction 1000 love.

 

For the romance thing to happen, you need to be Human, Elf or 1/2 Elf. You need to kill Min. When you return, if she offers to heal you, despite the fact that you are in full health, you are in.

To get her to like you more, do the standard stuff. Wear the Smoking Jacket, the Jewel of Hebe, light up PoW, increase BE....

I was playing a human. That leaves me with just a little bit more to know. Whats with the ring of brodgar and when does the errr, physical stuff happen. Also I ressurected her once but it didnt increase reaction she just said that shed repay the favour.

Just keep lighting up PoW & count. I never did.

Now that is a damnifIknow. It is a background, not a membership card, so as long as you are good, I see no problem.

 

So kill Min Gorad and then she heals me. Is that all that I need to do.
Do I kill Min Gorad after talking to her or do I just kill her straight out.
Also, I have charm and I used it but when I cancel they go back to ther usual reaction. No increase after it is cancelled.

I killed MG and then Raven healed me. So far it seems to be going the right way. She flirted with me alot and then when I asked her about Caladon she said the walking around the ocean thing. I simply need to know a few more things. Mainly, I know that the ring of brodgar has some significance with the Raven stuff. If anyone can tell me about that significance and when it comes into play then id like to hear it. Just incase it makes a difference her reaction has reached 145 now that i've started playing a charismatic elf mage.

The Ring of Brodgar is significant towards the end of the game. I don't know whether you've played through or not before, so I'll keep this spoiler free (there may be others out there who haven't). At some point in the game, you are required to go to the Ring of Brodgar. Something has to be done there, and unless Raven really likes you, she's going to leave. She's left all of my characters bar one - an ugly male half orc, with no persuasion skills, who somehow managed to convince her to stay with him, even though I had done absolutely nothing in the way of trying to get in to her pants.
