Giving out your cd key is dumb and can get you in messed up situations.

Bnet authenticates keys. I think the odds of generating a key that would pass auth would be pretty slim. And even if you ended up generating a valid key, that'll just mean that you screwed someone out of their legitimate key that they payed for.

Besides, aren't using bots kind of lame?

Can't you buy an original? It should be quite inexpensive about now. Perhaps buy only Brood Wars as it, being an add-on, is cheaper than the full version and should still have it's CD key.

EDIT On a related note does Starcraft still has that restriction that it can only be played under Windows 95 and in order to run it under any other version you have to swap a certain file?

 

Dunno. I ran it under 98 and there was no problem.

Hey Sleek, about that new sig image of yours. (Why do you always choose moving ones? The idea of a sig isn't to draw the attention one shold pay to the post, as you seem to think. Do you do it to hide the fact that you are spamming? Hmmm... ) Do you know what the guys are saying? It seems to me that you just saw it somewhere and decided to adopt it without bothering about that. They could be saying, 'Hey, you guys are so stupid!!!' or something like that.
