yea i killed that kill in the pool of water in tulla and i suspect he is to tell me where the vendigrothian ruins are? i tryed to force it but it wasnt where the locations bank said. is there another way of getting to the ruins?
What can I say? You've got a problem. VR is one of the locations which have to be triggered via dialog or studying a book in order to appear on your map.
Are you sure you can't force it? Try walking around the site where the location bank says it would be a few times. (It is right, I've used it to find it myself.) It is dependant on your perseption. If you have low perseption you won't always find it on the first try.
the map also has a longitude and latitude system on it, notice the numbers that change when you move your mouse curser up and down? (someone should post those coordinates for this guy btw) just go to those coordinates and if its not there, then you probably cant force it...
In case you don't want to take the fifteen seconds to check the location bank, here are the coordinates. Vendigroth Ruins W: 307 S : 587 You probably will need to run around for a bit after you go to those coordinates, but its better than having to restart.
Can't you force the location of the wheel clan? I know that you can't get it, but can't you get to the entrance that you can't see?
No. Not everything can be forced. The Castle Snel N'fa for one. Vendigroth is somewhat hidden. You realy need to search for it once you are at the location. You can get to the entrance, but that is all. I would not consider that forcing. You can force the Void without setting foot in the Wheel Clan. Does that help?
I think Shady MEANT to say, "You CAN'T force the Void without setting foot in the Wheel Clan. Does that help?"
I'm inclined to believe that Shadygrove meant exactly what he wrote, since it was true. All you need is a boat, and some violent intentions towards a powerful old elf....
And just how does one go about getting a boat without setting foot in the Wheel Clan at some point in the past??
