• Put the URL of your picture in between some IMG tags

To post a pic you need some space online. You can talk to milo about that. Our resident samaritan.

i've been told this before, but what would the url look like?(as in, if there are other things on the web page, what do i put in between the image tags so its not like i'm trying to post the whole web page?) or, how could i post the pic on an otherwise blank web page? is there a method you would suggest? :-?

 

Sure, try it with the pic in my signature. Right click on it and check the Properties. See the Address? That's the URL. That's where I uploaded the pic.

Then all you need to do is use the IMG tags in your post and put the URL in between them. Try it out with my sig pic if you want.
-Right Click on it --> Properties.
-Highlight the address with your mouse.
-Right Click on the highlighted text --> Copy.
-Make a post and put the opening IMG tag, then Paste the URL, then close the IMG tag (Just like you would if you were quoting someone except using IMG instead of QUOTE inside the brackets.

the company you have your internet connection with is your ISP, ring thier tech support and ask how to get your FTP up and running, you will need to have FTP program to acess it, i use WS_FTP, which can be easily found on Kazaa Lite.

Just as we got out ISP online, I must leave... Since I sold my pc I haven't got anything to go online with, it's summer home for me till the end of the summer brake. Which is another month. See ya all then.

Yeah, those dealers really don't like waiting for their money, do they? Just how are you going to get back online on a regular basis without a computer? Planning on buying a new one, one that can run Doom 3 in resolutions greater than 640x480 (which is what it's being run at, at QuakeCon)?
