What did he look like? Was he wearing a helmet with horns on and did he look like a barbarian?

If so, although I've never heard of it, it might be Torian Kell or whatever his name was - the undead bloke to be found under the ancient temple. The one you need to get the dragons blood for.

Either that or you're talking total and utter bollocks.

 

It's impossible encountering Torian Kell in the waste as he is too busy decomposing in the Ancient temple.

Since Whatshisnose has either discovered something totally new about Arcanum or he's talking out of his ass, it's not unreasonable to throw out counter-explanations, however improbable they may seem.
