Go to Blackroot and get a boat! One of three ways buy one gamble for one do stingy petes quests Just gave you the basics, you choose (do the stingy pete Stuff) Parmanian
Boat How to you buy a boat? when I go to Black root and try to buy one, it tells me come back later? what do I need to do in order to get a boat? how much are they? I only have 40,000? and also can I use it to go to the isle of dread????
you need 50,000 for a boat! thats why hes telling you to come back! I've never heard of the isle of DREAD do you mean isle of despair? if yes than you go to ashbury and talk to capt. teach but bates should have told you that and you shoudn't be going to thantos YET Parmanian
Well I have 60,000 gold and I still can't buy a boat, do I need to complete the Isle of Dread quest first????
If you mean th Isle of Despair, then yes. You can buy the boat only when you need to, at a certain point in the plot. But even then it's so much more fun getting a boat through a certain quest, so why bother?
Boat I can get a boat throough a quest???? if so Where can I find this quest? I want a boat!!!! and it sure would be nice to get one with out wasting 60,000.
When you are required to obtain a boat by the main plot, you will be given three options: gamble for it, buy one, or do a quest. If you're not at that point yet then just forget about it and play the game.
Quest WEll my current quest is to go to the Isle of dispair, so hopefully soon I can get my boat and travel around and Loot all of Arcanum........
Re: Quest No, not soon. That's the problem with visiting spoiler forums before you've played the game, isn't it? You find out so many things you shouldn't know yet, and episodes of mass confusion break out. Oh that reminds me, it's Sleek_Jeek's own fault for finding out about Arronax before his time, no excuse to spam that other thread out of anger and ruin the page formatting. Ugh!
well, i wasnt angry, just surprised! how was i supposed to know he'd post that? i mean, i check up on the newer posts so i can have a few questions answered in advance etc. i just wanted to make sure i was thinking of the right arronax
Storyline Yes it seems that way...... Alot easier to recover from mistakes..... fewer accidents. Oh well I still love the game for the most part 8)
