turn based multiplayer?

    Does anyone know of a patch or a hack that disables the real-time battle lock in the multiplayer mode? I seem to recall reading something about it briefly a while back, yet seem unable to find any reference now.

    Anyway, no I've never seen any hacks for turn-based multiplayer. Turn-based makes combat easier. But turn based multiplayer would kind of suck if the other person went afk, heh..

    I quite agree. As I recall, that's originally why they left it out in the first place. Unfortunately, my friend and I are playing on a small LAN setup in a house, and every timwe we get 4, maybe 5 monsters on a screen, whoever isn't the host lags horribly to the point where they can't contribute to the battle at all. Since we wouldn't be wandering off away from each other, it wouldn't be a problem.

    I wonder, since the Arcanum editor is quite powerful, if there is a file or something in the Arcanum directory that can be altered to make this work?
