Missing Raven, can't find amulet needed to get her!

I can't find Raven, and I know why. I forced the location of the elven city on my map. Now, I understand I need the amulet from Myrth (I think that's his name) in Stillwater. For some reason, I killed him, and probably sold his amulet. I sell everthing in Shrouded Hills, and none of the merchants has that amulet...what do I do!!!!????

 

start over and don't kill myrth and don't sell everything!




no just kidding.......someone should know how to edit a file to get the ammy in your inventory. These folks are doing all kinds of stuff that way.

You probably have sold other stuff your gonna need for later n the game!

Buy a scroll of Conjure Spirit. Go to Shrouded Hills. Kill Gaylin. Summon her ghost. Torture her ghost untill she spills the beans. Go find Raven.

Stop killing people before you are positive you don't need them any more.

Identify things before you sell them. That trinket is more than just a key to a puzzle, it is a fine piece of combat jewlery.

Power shop the magic shops in Tarant. One opens at midnight. Two chances each day for the scroll.

 

Ok, I killed Gaylin, conjured her spirit, and she pointed out Qintarra on my map...but Raven is still not there. Do I need to have someone point out Hardin's Pass also, (I found it myself earlier)?

 

have you done the wheel clan? since that puts stillwater on map, which puts qintarra on map. Before she shows up you have to have a reason for being there. Just getting the location on the map doesn't mean that all the ducks are in a row!

Yes, I have completed the Wheel Clan quest...he tells me to find the elven city of Qintarra.

 

This is strange...everytime I Kill Gaylin and torture her ghost, she tells me where Qintarra is. I go to Qintarra, no raven. Then I go BACK to Shrouded Hills and Gaylin is alive again, and doesn't hate me for killing her. I still have the objects I looted from her when I go back to see her. I have killed her four times, and the same thing keeps happening.

 

The Gaylin pare of the strange, a few NPCs are vital as a backup for the plotline. The optomitrist in Ashbury is another. For those, there is a monster generator to replace them.

The truly strange part is the lack of Raven. That is the last ditch final way to get her to appear. Are you patched?

 

yes, I patched before I even started playing the game. I have looked everywhere in Qintarra for Raven...can't find her anywhere.

 

Did you go into the door where her mother is? and was she there?

There has to be a trigger before qintarra that you hadn't made yet!

 

Well, on the East side of the city, I came across a female villager, but I couldn't start dialogue with her. That's the only one I haven't identified yet. She is located in a hut. Is this her mother?

 

I am noticing that when I ask Virgil "what should we do now" he says I should find the location of Qintarra by asking around Stillwater. But I have already found the location via killing Gaylin and torturing her ghost. I found Hardin's pass on my own...is this a problem?

 

first: give us a synopsis of how you got where you are in the game, your level, etc., anything that we can use to tell you what to do!


the pass is not a problem.........

the lady in the hut is the silver lady!

Did you free loghaire in the wheel clan or did you get his letter from m'in gorad?

what virgil is saying might be a clue. did you get the telegram for virgil in tarant that tells you to me joachim in stillwater?

and in stillwater did you pick up a book from joachim at the inn?

might have something to do with the storyline.

Put it this way............... why are you doing things out of reasonable order?

Since a lot of us force the pass and force qintarra to get jormond early LVL 19 you still haven't triggered what is needed for raven to show up.

Yes, I did all that...I am following the storyline. I killed the guy in Stillwater by mistake, and it screwed everything up...but I am following the story line. I am level 33. I have done as many of the side quests as possible. I teleported to the other side of the mountains, found qintarra, and then went back to try and trigger the quest. I knew I needed to find quintarra via stillwater, but had already killed what's his name in stillwater. That's when I came to the forum for help.

 

I can't see how just killing that guy could screw up the qintarra thing. Have you done any quests in qintarra? Like saving the hunter and freeing jormond?

Here's a stupid question........ when you got to the hut where the silver lady is, how MANY guards are right outside the hut, not the two that are at the bridge entrance? If there is 3, then one of them is raven.

Qintarra has a lot of turns in it that all look the same, are you sure you went everyplace?

Look in your logbook quests to see if the quest for finding Qintarra is there and striked through.

I believe there are 3 guards, but I can't begin dialogue with any of them. That is not the same hut I was speaking of though...I can't enter the "passage" to the hut for the Silver Lady. I click and it does nothing.

 

I've gone their before to get jormond and take syift back to tarant, but I pickpocket the ammy from myrth and give to gaylin, then steal it back.

Thats when I hear the big gong and the finishing of the quest for qintarra.

Do you have that listing?
