why there arent ANY kids in the entire game?

i miss fallout from this standpoint

 

dom't you know about the trouble related to the kids? in fallout? The possibilty of killing them?

It is true there was a version of Fallout, that removed all kids, because you could kill them.
But...please don't put all European countries in one huge box :smile:
I believe it was Germany (and perhaps the UK) that wanted this weird kid change. Not the rest of Europe.
So the kids were removed because of one, perhaps two countries.

And no, it is not fairly common for european countries to have rules against it.
As a European myself, I have never ever heard of a law/rule against it (although I don't know if Germany has a rule about or not, so it could be they had).

So please, don't put us all in one box :smile: We are really not the same country.

Germany has those strict laws because of its past and its involvement with the two world wars.

They're trying to turn the country around and don't want to take any risks

Same s*** as with Fallout Tactics. Everyone is so sensitive about putting anything that can be related to high school killings, just because society breeds killers and it's much easier to blame an entertainment medium.

I think it's something like GURPS and Fallout. Once it was known that you could kill kids in Fallout, GURPS withdrew FAST. This is going by common reports.

So if Sierra or someone else decided that killable kids was a no-go...

The game has too many slowdowns as it is. Besides Tarant is suposed to have an population close to a million: all towns are more symbolic then accuret.
