Phoenix: Its very good in my opinion. Singleplayer might not be the best there is, but its pretty fun and some neat features like the Solaris Mech Luegue with its awsome announcer/commentator Duncan Fisher really makes it even more fun.
Multi is a blast, So many different combo's of weapons and mechs have yet to be seen in any mech game to date.

I guess Arcanum has two classes Magic and Technology.
An example of this is that Dwarfs are just mean't to only use Technology not magic.
You are also rewarded for going mostly Magic or Technology.
Arcanum in multiplayer is not as good as Diablo2 multiplayer system.
It would be pretty cool playing Arcanum over B.net hehe

    Re: Hmmm....

Is it? Oh, I never saw it.. :/
Is it supposed to be that way, even when you pick the Clanless Dwarf background?

And, if you could the classes like that, there are three: Magick, Technology, Neutral.

Here are some of my reccomendations: (most of them are old, and cheap)

Thief: The Platinum Collection (Thief 1&2).
    Fallout 1&2.
    Planescape:Torment.
    Deus Ex.

Divine Divinity is more like Diablo II in way. But if you choose to be a Thief in Divine Divinity you could also learn some skills from the Mage or Warrior table. Neverwinter Nights is also a good DnD game in multiplayer.
