I don't remember the fellow's name, but where is that jerk? He asked me to find his assistant which I did, but when I cam back to blackroot he was no longer there? If he's in another town then which town is it and where is it please? thank you.
He has business to attand to in Caladon, which is why he could no longer look for Dudley or whatever his name is.
its Kietzel Pierce, when youve done the wheel clan bit go to quintarra, keep following the plot about the book 'the Curse of T'sen Ang' and it brings you to Caladon where a book collectors son is said to have it
At a certain point in the plot you'll have to go to Caladon, then the boats will agree to take you there.
yeh, although its a lot easier to just teleport but unless you have it the boat is the only way there and even then you cant until the storyline evolves a bit
For the desperate, Caladon, like almost anything in this game can be forced. Even when it is time to take a boat, if you force the pass & travel overland, the only plotline question you can ask the local folk is; "Where's Caladon?" The reply is always of the "long way by boat" type. If you want to know how to force Caladon, ask. Elemun's Bow is the better peice.
thanks guys! I did follow the plot and got there by boat but, I wasn't bent on necessarily going to Caladon as much as finding the bow master. suprisingly, the magic bow you get from his quest isn't THAT great. the bow you get in quintarra is better, i think. the damage is average, but you'll make many attacks which also gives you more opportunity to land a critical blow. by the way, are there even better bows out there? (magical ones)
IMHO, you have scored the best magic bows in the game, & judged their worth dead on. The Value of the BoE is the high bonus TH & range. The further over 100% you go, the greater your crit hit %. Called shots are deadly, & the range makes it a sniper's bow. Or you can use E'sB to simply fillthemfullofawholelotoffeathersrightnow. I chose path # 2. My tech archers use E'sB as their primary in the open & when against magical criters. It's that good.
if your making your own background you can type in the number to start with it IIRC its either 6099, 6999, 5099, 5999 i thinkv its 6099 tho, i found it experimenting, although i do advise giving say a melee disadvantage or something it makes the game somewhat less of a challenge.
6099 gives you an Elven Hunter's Bow, and the other numbers are nothing. If that's what you want, congrats. And yes, experimenting with the numbers is always more efficient than looking it up in description.mes.
Is the keyring vital to your character's personality or is it just that you can't wait to go ALL THE WAY TO TARANT for one?
